wow .. Serious relief. I love how thickly the paint is slapped on. Amazing technique :clap:

I have a question:
I don't know if you do work that you don't post on Deviant but do you ever work from pure imagination? I'm not saying your portraits aren't expressive but I just wonder if you ever break away completely from all reference and work from your head...

This is truly one of the most beautiful portraits I have ever seen. It's haunting, lively and elegant. Your technique is arresting and the colors are very much pushing the envelope in the sense of the way they are not "life like" in the flesh feeling. You really let the paint be paint so to speak, lovely lovely work.

You do a lot of the same kind of picture in the same media. You do it well, but don't you feel the need to break away from it a bit and challenge yourself with something else?
